I’m Teresa Di Vaia, but you can call me Divat. I’m a freelance illustrator specializing in digital art, and I live and work in the beautiful city of Lucca, Tuscany.
My artwork often revolves around female figures intertwined with nature, exploring themes of personal growth and transformation. I’ve always been fascinated by human beings, their evolution, and the world they live in—maybe that’s why I ended up studying archaeology!

Step by Step: My Creative Process
Once we agree on a project, my creative process unfolds in three main stages:
Brainstorming: I dive into the project, analyzing its core elements and defining the key aspects.
Sketching: I start with quick pencil sketches to explore ideas based on the project's theme. Then, I refine them into a more detailed composition, giving a clear vision of the final illustration.
Finalisation: I bring the sketch to life digitally, carefully selecting the color palette, refining details, and making final adjustments to create a balanced and meaningful image.
